Position Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the quality of health care in Florida.
We are seeking to hire a Human Services Program Records Analyst who desires to work to enhance the delivery of health care services through the Florida Medicaid Program.
This position requires a candidate who is creative, flexible, innovative, and who will thrive in a fast-paced, team based work environment.
This position is located in the Bureau of Medicaid Recipient and Provider Assistance (RPA).
RPA serves as a primary point of contact for enrolled Medicaid providers, Medicaid recipients, and members of the community with questions and concerns about Medicaid.
This position is responsible for functions necessary to ensure the field office remains in compliance with various Human Resources regulations, including the handling of confidential and sensitive information.
Serves as personnel liaison for the office and works closely with Human Resources to answer personnel questions or issues raised by staff.
Develops, updates, and maintains files on all personnel including position descriptions, leave records, COOP files, ID badges and parking passes.
Resolves discrepancies in the files with appropriate headquarters staff.
Assists the designated staff preparing records and reports for review by Leadership. Including, but not limited to compiling and reviewing activities to determine completeness, retrieves and documents.
The incumbent in this position maintains a routine inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure that staff have adequate resources to perform their job functions and conducts a periodic physical accounting to verify accuracy.
The incumbent shall initiate office supply orders using My Florida Market Place or P-Card and seek prior authorization of the Field Office Manager prior to completing purchases.
Compiles ongoing budget information, maintains a log of expenditures, and assists the Field Office Manager with review of the Monthly Expenditure Report.
Reviews the encumbrance reports to ensure that the numbers are accurate, and the expenditures are within the Field Office budget allotment.
Resolves any discrepancies with finance and accounting.
The incumbent reviews general office operations such as: ensures maintenance of telephone and office equipment; obtains bids and initiates lease or purchase; coordinates all issues related to vendor and landlord issues; coordinates issues related to computer equipment or technology with the local IT Representative.
Travel will be 1-25%
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
This position will report to the Jacksonville Field Office.
This position is not a remote or telework position.
