Job Description
The essential function of the position within the organization is to provide administrative support to a Child Support Enforcement Hearing Officer. Applicants should have two (2) years of experience as a legal secretary or paralegal. Requires excellent typing, spelling and grammar skills; should possess a working knowledge of family court rules and procedures; and must be professional and diplomatic in dealing with attorneys and the public. Applicants should be able to operate standard office equipment, including personal computers, word processing, electronic calendaring, and data entry applications for case management. The position works independently under general supervision according to established procedures.
Education and Training Guidelines
High school diploma or GED and two years of college or vocational education in paralegal, secretarial skills, computer operations, or a closely related field.
Experience: Two years of related work experience.
Competencies
Strong computer skills required.
