JOB DESCRIPTIONS
General duties of an Interviewing Clerk include but not limited to explaining eligibility requirements to applicants/recipients of public assistance programs; assisting customers applying for public assistance, interviewing customers, answering phone, using photocopy machine, scanner and other office machines.
Beyond routine IC duties and expectations this position will provide support to the EDP unit processes for the Northeast Region. The incumbent will also work with on customer service issues, Lobby Management Programs, and will work with ESS Systems such as FLORIDA, Document Imaging, and Access Management System (AMS). While not required, candidates with experience in these aforementioned systems would be desirable
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or its equivalent and two years of clerical or public contact experience. College education from an accredited institution or vocational/technical training can substitute at the rate of 30 semester, 45 quarter or 720 classroom hours for each year of the required experience. Must have more than 1-3 years of clerical experience in an office setting. Must have more than 1 year of customer service experience. Must have more than 1 -3 years of computer experience.
