DUTIES:

Responsible for general administrative duties including the organization and maintenance of records, files, and manuals relating to the operation of a law enforcement field office in the Division of Law Enforcement.

Backs up call center specialists including answering incoming calls, communicating with the public in a courteous and professional manner, disseminates information and assists with requests for informational brochures distributed by FWC. Primary call taker. Must have great customer service. Distribute incoming mail and post outgoing mail.

Assists Captain(s) and Administrative Support staff with the proper management and operation of the field office.  Responsible for the organization and maintenance of records, files, and manuals relating to the operation of the field office.  Such records include official law enforcement documents, report forms, confidential investigative reports, general administrative records and files, and manuals.  Consults with office management for administrative decisions. 

Help Administrative Staff with their duties, to include off-duty, purchasing, uniform orders, etc. Schedules and process rehabilitation exams and enter Subpoena’s into Smart Cop system.

Assist with yearly area and regional meetings. Performs special assignments and tasks as assigned by the Regional Commander, Captain, and GOC to include but not limited to, the development and preparation of various reports, analysis, and other management documents.  Performs other related duties and special projects assigned.

 

KNOWLEDEGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:

Ability to use a personal computer. Ability to follow written/verbal instructions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. 

Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.
