Your Specific Responsibilities:
Provides word processing/computer terminal support for the HID/AIDS program by entering all required demographics and test results of patients. These patients may be statewide, using various test options (anonymous site, confidential site, etc.). The operator must recognize the testing option in order to process the information to appropriate computer files. Incumbent must use word processing skills to produce weekly, monthly, annual and special reports, as well as demographic analyses. All test results and demographics must be entered within three working days post testing. Operator must be able to extract, collate and store information in equipment daily and maintain a file on all stored information.
Report all HIV test results to the proper provider while maintaining complete anonymity and/or confidentiality. Results are reported within eight hours after completion of data entry and technical release.
Operator must use word processing skills to assist the word processing systems operator supervisor and the HIV supervisor in performing revisions and automatic typing or correspondence both within and out-of-state agencies, memoranda reports, records, letters to applicants, and other documents from rough and finalized copy work which may be general complex and often technical.
Responsible for maintaining sufficient consumables on-site for routine daily use. This includes monitoring and ordering supplies when necessary.
Searches computer storage files for individual records, prepares computer print-out of these records and sends the report as directed by the Retrovirology supervisor.

Qualifications:
Minimum – High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred – 5 years of Data Entry experience.
