LEGAL ASSISTANT II
Position Summary: This position performs a variety of tasks to assist Law Enforcement Office with the completion of required administrative duties not limited to:
Job Duties
- Provide administrative support for Law Enforcement Officers
- Prepare Lawful Investigation Subpoenas.
- Dependable and routine in-office attendance during regularly scheduled business hours.
- Review and promptly respond to all electronic messaging.
- Perform quality work with deadlines.
- Perform all duties as required.
- Help support the report desk for the State Attorney’s Office

- Work effectively as a team contributor as well as independently.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read and comprehend
- Ability to operate the telephone system and respond to calls promptly and professionally.
- Ability to operate computer to include effective keyboard skills.
- Ability to follow rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Effective communication skills to include the ability to interact professionally with other employees, members of the public and stakeholders.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalency
- Two (2) years of secretarial/clerical experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
