LEGAL ASSISTANT II

 

Position Summary: This position performs a variety of tasks to assist Law Enforcement Office with the completion of required administrative duties not limited to:

 

Job Duties

 

  • Provide administrative support for Law Enforcement Officers
  • Prepare Lawful Investigation Subpoenas.
  • Dependable and routine in-office attendance during regularly scheduled business hours.
  • Review and promptly respond to all electronic messaging.
  • Perform quality work with deadlines.
  • Perform all duties as required.
  • Help support the report desk for the State Attorney’s Office

  • Work effectively as a team contributor as well as independently.

  • Ability to read and comprehend
  • Ability to operate the telephone system and respond to calls promptly and professionally.
  • Ability to operate computer to include effective keyboard skills.

  • Effective communication skills to include the ability to interact professionally with other employees, members of the public and stakeholders.

 

Requirements

 

  • A high school diploma or equivalency
  • Two (2) years of secretarial/clerical experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
