This is a highly responsible position that will assist the Union and Bradford CHD Accountant Supervisor with the billing and collection functions of a County Health Department/FQHCF.  

 

The operations and responsibilities of this position include billing (Third Party, Medicaid, Medicare and Self Pay) and posting of Medicaid Wrap-A-Round payments. 

 

This position is also responsible for collections, write offs, and patient statements, and setting up payment plans with patients.   

 

 

This position also is responsible for posting revenue daily, working Aged Receivable Reports on monthly and quarterly basis.  This position is also responsible for working denials and any claim related issues.  

 

 

This position also is responsible for invoicing and reconciling outside vendors/accounts for services rendered. 

 

This position will be responsible for maintaining insurance fee schedules and entering Lab Codes in HMS 

Performs other duties as needed.
