MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be fluent in the English language: reading, writing, speaking
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook and Word
- Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays if needed
- Successful completion of the employment screening process to include, but not limited to, drug test and national background investigation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Formal Education, bachelor’s degree. Direct experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis.
- Experience with Medicaid eligibility in a long-term care facility
- Experience working in FLMMIS
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Works under the supervision of the Business Manager
- Complete intake forms on all residents upon admissions
- Provide knowledge of Medicaid benefits to residents
- Coordinate and complete assessment appointments
- Track progress and renewals for new residents and existing residents
- Complete and submit Medicaid applications and renewal applications
- Prepare monthly reports for billing
- Complete documentation gathering, faxing, scanning and copying
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This position is in the Other Personal Services (Temporary) system.
