OPS (Temporary) Receptionist

Hourly Rate: $15.38
Paid Bi-Weekly
Shift: Days, Evenings, Every other Weekend and Some Holidays

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must be willing and able to work in Lake City, FL.
- Must be willing and able to work every other weekend.
- Must successfully complete a Level II Background Screening to include, but not limited to a drug test and finger printing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Operates switchboard.
- Takes messages for staff and relays in a timely manner.
- Routes calls for residents to the proper room phone, takes messages for residents and insures they are relayed in a timely manner.
- Use copier and fax machine.
- Shred paperwork as needed.
- Help with donation process.
- Assist residents with questions.
- Clean front lobby spills if housekeeping is unavailable.
- Coordinate with bus drivers for resident pick up from various places in the community.
- Put up resident mail.
- Insure that all official visitors and resident visitors are courteously greeted, directed properly to their destination as to general nature of their business after locating staff/resident being visited without verifiable complaint. Insure compliance with the visitors’ administrative policy.
- Assist Nursing with logging in resident medications that come in the mail.
