Annual Starting Salary: $50,000-$68,365.44
Paid Bi-Weekly
Excellent retirement package and optional deferred compensation plan. Health, vision, dental, disability, and other supplemental insurance available at reasonable premium rates. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a current employee of the Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs.
- Must be highly organized, able to multi-task, and handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Successful completion of a Level 2 Background Screening, Drug Test and due diligence process.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference given to applicants with the following experience:
- A Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university. Direct experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis.
- Florida Certified Contract Manager certification or completion within one year of employment.
- Three (3) years professional administrative experience or fiscal, planning, program evaluation, program monitoring, education, health or rehabilitative services experience.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Applies for grants.
- Processes staff applications for scholarships and/or other rewards for which they qualify.
- Reviews and processes grant invoices.
- Develops and monitors administrative and financial policies and procedures for grant programs.
- Analyzes present grant and makes recommendations for improved effectiveness.
- Recommends the initiation of projects.
- Provides assistance on all matters pertaining to the development and operation of grant programs.
- Interprets regulations and policies for program administrators.
- Performs related work as required.
