APD/SUNLAND-NURSING PROGRAM SPECIALIST – Quality Management

 

This is a highly responsible professional nursing position at Sunland Center in Marianna, Florida.  Sunland Center is a 250-bed Intermediate Care Facility (ICF-ID) residential facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities. 

 

The Quality Management RN will be responsible for the professional development and implementation of a program to evaluate and effect initiatives to sustain and improve nursing programs and services.  Additional focus will be in specific areas of the Health Care Division as assigned.

 

The Quality Management Nursing Program Specialist has co-responsibility with the Infection Control Nursing Program Specialist for development and delivery of Staff Development education and training on health issues and nursing-delegated functions to non-licensed personnel.

 

The Quality Management Nursing Program Specialist will serve on the Nursing Leadership Team as assigned by the Executive Nursing Director.

 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Five years as a professional registered nurse with at least two years of specific work in the area of quality management and/or quality improvement.
  • BSN preferred.
