  • In accordance with Florida Statute 322, Possession of a Classified Driver's License appropriate to the type of vehicle operated

 

 

DESCRIPTION

 

This is work driving or operating various motor vehicles such as a bus, van, truck or other motor vehicle except truck and trailer operator.

 

EXAMPLES OF WORK

 

  • Moves controls to drive gasoline or electric-powered trucks, cars, or vehicles and transports materials or people between destinations or work areas.
  • Moves levers and controls to operate lifting devices, such as disabled lift platforms or other lifts to unload, transport, and stack material.
  • Manually load or unload materials onto or off vehicle.
  • Inspects vehicle, and checks gas, oil, and water before departure and performs routine maintenance.
  • Reports delays or accidents.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT:

 

It is the policy of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities that applicants for employment undergo Level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
