Description

Inspect and repair all types of refrigeration equipment.  This is to include but not limited to air conditioning equipment, freezers, coolers, ice makers, chillers, air handlers, cooling towers, etc. This is to be done on a daily and on-going basis.

 

Perform a full preventative maintenance program on all refrigeration equipment which is to include but not limited to clean air conditioners, coils, condensers, oil, and grease air handlers, changing belts, bearings, wash and check cooling towers, water coolers, etc. on a daily and on-going basis.

 

Assist in maintenance and repairs of steam and hot water boiler controls.

 

Maintain tool inventory and tool logs, equipment logs, process work orders, and maintain a refrigeration shop.  Keep supplies on hand to operate Sunland on a daily and on-going basis.

 

The position will be required to work shift hours as needed.  Shift hours will include evenings, weekends, and holiday hours.

 

Perform other related duties as required.

 

Complete all assigned staff training deemed mandatory

 

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • At least two (2) years of professional experience related to HVAC
  • Preference will be given to candidates with an EPA Universal Certification

 

Experience, education, and/or training used to meet the minimum qualifications and in response to the qualifying questions must be verifiable through information contained in your application.

 

This position may be required to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency per APD OP 2-0035.

 

This position is critical to the safety and supervision of residents and may require the incumbent to work beyond their normal work schedule to maintain minimum coverage levels in the facility.
