Description

Instruct residents in performing various vocational duties.

 

Assist with moving furniture within the Unit.

 

Assist with maintaining Harvest Cafeteria cleanliness.

 

Assist with Center-wide groundskeeping, as needed,  during peak months.

 

Attend meetings as scheduled for assigned caseload, to include individual program plan meetings, active treatment meetings or special active treatment meetings.

 

Assist with completing assessments for assigned caseload for the vocational training program.

 

Maintain appropriate paperwork for assigned caseload,  assigned for the  vocational training programs.

 

Attend required staff training online and in person.

 

Assist with ordering and maintaining adequate supplies.

 

Assist with maintaining vocational training program shed(s).

 

Other related duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Preferred but not required; Experience in groundskeeping and operating lawn equipment
  • Preferred but not required; Experience in stripping/waxing floors
  • Preferred but not required; Experience in general maintenance 
  • Preferred but not required; Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

 

Experience, education, and/or training used to meet the minimum qualifications and in response to the qualifying questions must be verifiable through information contained in your application.

 

This position may be required to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency per APD OP 2-0035.

 

This position is critical to the safety and supervision of residents and may require the incumbent to work beyond their normal work schedule to maintain minimum coverage levels in the facility.
