SALARY RANGE

$34,184.80 - $35,000.16 Annually                       $1,314.80 - $1,346.16 Bi-weekly

 

Position Summary

This position is responsible for assisting the Regional Program Supervisor and other staff within the Quality Improvement work stream, and coordinates with other administrative support staff within the region to ensure administrative functions are conducted timely to promote Regional operations.

 

The Work You Will Do 

Provides secretarial support to the QI Regional Program Supervisor which can include preparing correspondence and reports, filing, and mail distribution.

 

Receive the approved Notices of Non-Compliance from the Senior Human Services Program Specialist for Licensing (HSPS), mail and email the Notices to the appropriate provider. Enter the Notices and due dates into a tracking system maintained on Share Point. Receive the responses to the Notices of Non-Compliance from the provider agencies, track their submission and submit to the HSPS for review.  Completed reviews will be tracked in the Notice tracking system, incomplete responses will be returned to the provider and tracked through completion. 

 

Assist the Regional Program Supervisor (RPS) for Quality Assurance to ensure that APD staff is dispatched in a timely manner to review all reports of Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation (ANE) received from Adult Protective Services.  a request to dispatch staff for a Health and Safety ANE review requesting either monitoring, nursing or behavioral staff. 

 

Prepare an email request and forward to the appropriate staff as well as the Incident Reporting staff.  On a separate tracking spreadsheet, track the date of the ANE, the client’s name, the staff sent to review the ANE and the date that a report was returned. 

 

Assists with the tracking and preparation of QI assignments including required monthly reports.

 

Answers phone and email inquiries timely and routes complex inquiries to the appropriate staff.

 

Assists in coordination of work assignments within the Regional Office including phone and receptionist duties.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two or more years of professional experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Teams).

 

  • Ability to speak Spanish or Creole preferred.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Knowledge of:

  • Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Power Point Share Point) and other required computer software applications.

 

Ability to:

  • Maintain, monitor and utilize tracking systems. 

 

  • Communicate orally and in writing, (face to face, electronically and/or written) information and ideas clearly, concisely and effectively.

 

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with consumers, families, providers and staff within and across regions.

 

  • Prioritize and schedule work efficiently, determine work priorities and ensure completion of work assignments within deadlines.

Retirement funds are also required to be in the Direct Deposit Program.

Background Screening Requirement
