JOB SUMMARY:
This is an Administrative Assistant I position in the General Tax Administration Program's, Receivables Management, Field Operations - Collection Process, in the Miami Service Center. The incumbent is responsible for performing administrative functions in support of the service center manager, such as compiling reports, developing agendas, transcribing meeting notes, and purchasing and reconciliation. The incumbent also maintains confidential personnel records and assists the audit process by preparing case files and updating audit computer systems.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Eighteen months of administrative, secretarial, or staff assistant work experience.
- Experience with procurement/purchasing, human resources, report development, maintaining inventory information, or working with confidential information.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- Occasional overnight travel, using your own means of transportation, may be necessary for training purposes. Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to agency policy.
SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $2,959.10 monthly/$35,509.20 annually.
