The Eligibility Specialist II role is more than a promotion. It is an opportunity to become a go-to resource for your unit, support supervisors, strengthen case accuracy, mentor staff, and help keep our service delivery model moving with excellence.

 

In this role, you may assist with:

 

Providing technical assistance and in-unit training

Supporting supervisors with daily operations

Reviewing cases and giving feedback to improve accuracy

Mentoring staff and helping address identified training needs

Assisting with client concerns and fair hearing reviews

Processing complex or error-prone cases

Participating in workgroups, committees, and special projects

 

Strong knowledge of Food Assistance and Medicaid policy and procedures is highly preferred.
