Your Specific Responsibilities:
Operates a government motor vehicle utilized vehicle to transport equipment, office and medical supplies, within the Florida Department of Health Miami Dade County outlying satellite clinics and warehouses for the purpose of relocation personnel, storing and/or disposing of unusable equipment and furniture. The items may weigh over 50 pounds.
Responsible for conducting physical inventory of all assets within the organization. Assist in coordinating new assets by providing bar code tags for each fixed item purchased. Assist in delivering any assets that are to be decommissioned based on supervisor approval.
Receives, verifies, and records all boxes containing Record for storage from Florida Department of Health in Miami Dade County. Assigns permanent storage at the new medical Records warehouse.
Responsible for the retention requirement of records in accordance with State regulation, Responsible of retrieve boxes from the warehouse when request by programs.
Reeives, stamps, sorts and delivers, incoming and outgoing mail, Special Deliveries, Confidential mail, delivery of parcels and hand-delivers documents amongst the Florida Department of Health in Miami Dade County Health centers, satellite clinics, offices et cetera. Operates office equipment and electronic systems (software) to process mail, complete workload, produce reports, and submit Leave and Attendance and to better assist internal and external clients.
Incumbent will be a back-up and responsible for the processing, receiving, sorting and posting all Miami Dade County Health Department incoming and outgoing mail as well as distributes and delivers the incoming and outgoing, Inter-Office mail, including confidential and hand delivers mail and parcels such as FedEx, UPS and OHL regular basis and distribute to the appropriate program daily.
Responsible for utilizing the Pitney Bowe System in or to prepares and stamps all out-going correspondence and assures accuracy of postage in accordance with U.S. Postal Service regulations. Monitors and maintain Pitney Bowe System machine for proper functioning, replenishing funds when required.
Responsible for physical inspection of documentation including receiving reports and packing slips received in the Information Technology Facility site to ensure adequate controls are in place for the procurement and recording of these assets in the inventor system. Determine the value of the product and services to tag items based on state requirements prior to IT deployment to the various programs.
Coordinates the logistical support required for special assignments related to transportation and deployment of state assets locally. Provide special services to programs to assist in the program when needed for special assignments. Performs other related duties as assigned. In absence, the supervisor may plan and direct the subordinates’ work and approve leave as necessary.

Qualifications:
Minimum –
Valid Florida driver’s license, ability to lift and transport items over 50 pounds, and experience with inventory control, asset tagging, mail handling, and record‑keeping. Must be able to operate office equipment, follow state regulations, and perform logistical and transportation duties reliably and independently.
