Description of Job:

This advertisement is for temporary Other Personal Services (OPS) opportunities to be filled within the agency. Duties will consist of general clerical and administrative support functions including greeting customers, answering incoming phone calls, distributing mail, collecting fees, processing paperwork/applications, performing data entry, maintaining hard copy and electronic files, preparing and composing written correspondence and reports, reviewing information for accuracy and completeness, preparing and delivering daily bank deposits and assisting with scanning, copying, and/or faxing documentation.


We are seeking candidates with the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Knowledge of general office procedures and practices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and/or PowerPoint).
  • Skill in providing customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to type letters, memoranda and other standard business forms in correct format.
  • Ability to organize and maintain filing systems.
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, multi-line telephone, scanner, printer, Xerox machine, and facsimile.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments and effectively handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information.
  • Skill in data entry and/or database management.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.


Job-Related Requirements:

  • Candidates for this position must be 16 years of age or older.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing.  A driver's license history review will be conducted on all candidates for consideration for the position.
  • Some positions may require the ability to move and lift boxes weighing up to 30 pounds throughout the workday.


Additional Position Information:

  • We are seeking candidates interested in temporary Other Personal Services (OPS) opportunities in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. 
  • These OPS positions will be part-time (15-29 hours per week); specific hours and schedule may vary.


Selection Process Information:

  • The elements of the selection process may include a skill assessment and/or oral interview.
