📢 Internal Career Opportunity – Senior Human Services Program Specialist

 

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join the ACCESS Program Office – Southern Region, supporting Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.

This position provides support across policy and quality assurance activities, training delivery, hearings review, and other key regional operational functions. The role also includes engagement in data analysis, reporting, and program monitoring activities to support operational effectiveness and continuous improvement.

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of professionalism, strong knowledge of policy, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a consistent commitment to service excellence and program integrity. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is preferred, along with familiarity with QMS and data analytics systems. Flexibility is required, as responsibilities may be adjusted in response to evolving program needs and operational priorities.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience determining public assistance eligibility and/or providing monitoring, training, supervisory, or operational support within the Economic Self-Sufficiency Program
  • Demonstrate strong experience interpreting and applying federal and state policy related to public assistance programs

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with public benefits integrity, quality assurance, quality control reviews, audits, corrective actions, or program compliance activities
  • Experience preparing for, reviewing, coordinating, or supporting hearings, appeals, or fair hearing processes
  • Experience delivering staff training, coaching, technical assistance, or developing operational guidance materials
