POSITION DESCRIPTION: Assists the District Production Manager in the establishment of logic driven scheduling templates as well as the creation and development of initial Primavera schedules for all projects within the District. Assists the maintenance of all schedules for projects within the Five-Year Work Program to reflect their current status and ensure resolution of conflicts with existing production and financial commitments. Serve as the lead for Scheduling functions.
Assists the District Production Manager in coordination of the development, maintenance, and tracking of the Annual District Agenda Package commitments with involvement from all required supporting offices. Serve as the backup to the Production Manager as liaison among the District Directors and Central Office staff on Production Management matters. Assist in the maintenance of information throughout the Fiscal Year and produce required reports and correspondence.
Assists in the establishment, generation and distribution of reports from scheduling related databases for District Directors, Department Managers, project managers and staff as requested. Supports the custodian of rules applicable to District Production practices. Monitor and review the monthly update reports.
Assists District Production Manager to create, manage and control the Advance Potential Production List. Review and analyze schedules to identify potential advanced and extra production opportunities for Design, Right-of-Way, Construction, etc. to utilize various funding sources should they become available.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of the concepts, terminology, principles and analytical techniques of the engineering specialty area of scheduling and project management; skilled in Oracle Primavera software applications; knowledge in structuring and classifying information; skilled in Microsoft Office products; skilled in developing presentation materials; ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
OTHER JOB RELATED REQUIREMENTS: During a declared emergency event, the incumbet will be required to assist the district as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or its equivalent and three years of relevant employment experience or; an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of relevant experience or; three years of higher education with a cumulative of 72 semester hours or 108 quarter hours.

A Competitive Area Differential (CAD) additive in the amount of $1,976 will be added to the annual salary.
