Assistant State Attorney – Felony Screening Unit
There is an immediate opening for an Assistant State Attorney position in our Felony Screening Unit. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in criminal law and have a good knowledge of criminal law and procedure, good interviewing skills, and decision-making ability. Membership in the Florida Bar is required. In addition to regular contact with police witnesses and civilians, the person selected will interact with all levels of government and governmental agencies, including regulatory bodies and non-criminal, non-investigative agencies. Attention to detail, the ability to coordinate and mediate, and good people skills are all necessary for this position.
