Process Server I -Victim Witness Process Service Unit
Location: E.R. Graham Building

Position Overview:
The Process Server position in the Victim Witness Process Service Unit requires serving personal service subpoena requests and Subpoena Duces Tecums to various addresses throughout Miami-Dade County. The work schedule for this position is 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a possible Saturday rotation. Candidates must be flexible with their work schedule.
The Job Responsibilities are:
- Serving subpoenas and court summons
- Locating witnesses who have moved and/or are avoiding participating in the felony criminal court system
- Updating the Subpoena Program with the return of service
- Completing monthly Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Completing Daily Activity Reports
- Working closely with the Unit Paralegals to obtain better contact information
- Performing other related duties as assigned
The Minimum Requirements are:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- One (1) year of law enforcement investigation or related work experience
- Must have a valid Florida Driver License, possess a very good driving record and meet the requirements of the State Attorney’s Office Driving Policy
- Must have knowledge of the geographical layout of Miami-Dade County
The Preferred Qualifications and Skills are:

Starting Annual Salary: $35,990.88
