The Central Region/Circuit 5 is seeking an attorney to join the Ocala/Marion County CLS Team as a Shelter Attorney.

 

The Attorney position will be responsible for handling the initial phases of a court case, from staffing potential shelters through assisting with the filing of dependency petitions.  This position will include, but is not limited to, participating in legal staffings with child protective investigations and case management, handling shelter hearings, assisting with the preparation of initial discovery and drafting dependency petitions. The chosen candidate will be required to be on-call overnight during the work week and will therefore have a flexible work schedule.

 

The salary for a senior attorney is $47,500 per year, and includes an excellent benefits package with health benefits, life insurance, dental insurance benefits, four weeks paid vacation, paid state holidays off with pay, a personal day, paid sick leave, and a state funded retirement package.
