This is advanced professional work assessing and developing Child Protective Investigators (CPIs) to ensure possession of the appropriate level of professional competencies.  This position will work in cooperation with CPI Supervisors and management in promoting the development of knowledge, skills, and their application for CPIs.  

Analysts review investigations in order to ensure that critical information is provided to the CPIs and CPI Supervisors during the course of the investigation.  

Analysts assist with identifying and faciliting the collection of any information that is needed to ensure critical information is assesses in an expeditious manner.  

In the event of additional information is identified during the pre-commencement and/or follow up consultations.  The analyst will request and review any records pertinent to the assessment of the family.  

The analyst will be responsible for coordinating appointments that impact the assessment of the family such as the Child Protection Team and/or referrals to service providers.  

During the investigative process, the analyst will meet with the CPI, the CPI Supervisor, and as needed or required by policy, the Operations Manager and Program Administrator to elevate concerns based on record reviews or additional infomration received.  

Analysts will estabilish and maintain cooperative working relationships with organizations and other agencies involved with child protective investigations such as community based providers, Children's Legal Services, law enforcement, medical personnel, schools, and other community/agency resources.  

Analyst will also perform other job duties as needed and assigned aligned with the scope of responsibilites.
