SPECIAL NOTES:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

 

Additional requirements:

  • Six (6) months operating a multi-line telephone system.
  • One (1) year of clerical work experience.
  • Six (6) months experience processing payments and handling cash.
  • Ability to reconcile account balances and monitor proper fiscal records.
  • Ability to prepare complex reports and correspondence.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience. (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A valid and current driver’s license.

 

Preference:

  • Experience answering and directing phone calls.

 

This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment. 

 

Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle. 

 

This position will be filled at $15.00 per hour at 40 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications for this position include the following REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE,

  • Knowledgeable of phone systems and phone etiquette. 
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to file reports electronically and manually.
  • Ability to identify confidential information.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet timelines.

 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Answering incoming phone calls and aiding customers.
  • Learn and assist with the registration process and dormitory system.                  
  • Filing documents and reports electronically and manually.
  • Working with FCDICE to assist customers.                                                        
  • Learn and operate the Raptor badging system.
