Your Specific Responsibilities:

Monitors clinic schedule ensuring clients have current Ryan White eligibility, obtain insurance authorization, if necessary, for clinic visit, notes on schedule clients with ADAP needing enrollment paperwork signed. Runs clients’ insurance coverage through Availity and indicates insurance coverage, Ryan White eligibility, and ADAP participation under clients’ information in HMS.

Assists with schedule changes and client notification.

Maintains ADAP/AIMS spread sheet of all clients receiving HIV services at Marion CHD. Completes monthly Expenditure and FTTY report and enters in PCFMRS by the twentieth of each month.

Monitors client records for proof of HIV status.

Assists with coordination and monitoring clients’ enrollment in the Ryan White program and ADAP ensuring enrollment is current. Scans signed enrollment documents and current lab reports into Provide. Contacts clients within forty-five days of enrollment termination and documents in Provide and HMS. Assists and encourages clients eligible for ADAP provided insurance to follow through during open enrollment period. Follows up as needed with clients regarding ADAP insurance premium payments. Instructs client regarding use of Specialty Pharmacies to obtain medication refills.

Assists with monitoring of ADAP retail medication pick-up in HMS and documents in Provide, attempts client contact if no pick-up noted. Assists clients with medication pick-up for direct dispense at DOH.

Enters and monitors telehealth appointments in the Ryan White Portal noting on the schedule what provider accepted the appointment.

Places supply orders in My FL Market Place to support clinic functions.

 

Performs other related duties such as, but not limited to, working where assigned at time of a disaster.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effective in English and Spanish, written and verbal.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft products for methods of compiling, organizing, and analyzing data.
  • Ability to conduct fact-finding interviews.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work activities.

  • Ability to identify community resources.
  • Ability to assist in the development of program manuals, policies, procedures, standards, and rules.
  • Ability to prepare and conduct training programs.
  • Must complete Provide Enterprise training.
  • Must complete CareWare training.
  • Must complete PCFMRS/ Ryan White portal training.
  • Must complete My Florida Market place training
  • Must maintain access to FLEMIS, Availity and Change HealthCare
  • Ability to request insurance authorizations.
  • Must have access to Emdeon to check for new medications and retail medication pickup status.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs, push, pull, drive and perform demonstrations as assigned.

Minimum

Fluent in Spanish
