The Work You Will Do:

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSOCIATE AND TURNPIKE ENTERPRISE

 

This position will support the Senior Toll Analytics Manager by conducting research, preparing reports, handling inquiries, and assisting with special projects that aid Turnpike operations. It involves managing correspondence, ensuring documents are accurately organized and retained per policy, and maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of Turnpike programs to support decision‑making. The position also routes incoming inquiries, proofs and edits documentation, and helps optimize electronic file structures for efficiency.

Your Specific Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting the Senior Toll Analytics Manager with special projects related to the operations of the Turnpike Enterprise, including financial and operational reporting, research and analysis, and internal and external inquiries to support the business units. Use discretion and good judgment while performing a variety of duties in a collaborative environment.

 

Investigate subject matter, secure information and prepare replies to correspondence and inquiries from individuals, elected officials, and other government agencies. Assist with proofing and editing correspondence, reports and other documentation. Compile and review data to support administrative decision-making. Complete special projects as assigned including reports, documents, research assignments, and technical aspects of various types of presentations. Maintain current information on Turnpike policies and programs and process routine matters within established policies.

 

Upload and organize documents in department databases, enhancing retrieval efficiency for team members. Assist to ensure that documents are scanned, stored, and/or purged in accordance with statute and Department document retention policies and procedures. Periodically review electronic folder/file structure for optimization/efficiency and validate that scanned documents are stored in proper locations.

 

Receive incoming calls and correspondence and route inquiries to the appropriate personnel for handling. Assist in the review and routing of inquiries received through the correspondence tracking tool utilized by the Department.
