POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is in the Orlando Regional Operations Center (OROC), Business Support Office, reporting to the Senior Management Analyst Supervisor. This is a full-time position that is responsible for submitting and maintaining all the purchase orders for this region. The incumbent will be conducting audits and clearing p-card purchases in P-Works, assisting with answering calls at reception front desk, receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail. Lastly, the incumbent will be assisting the supervisor with any special projects as needed.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Specific duties include:

  • Submitting and maintaining all purchase orders for the Orlando region;
  • Creating requisitions and completing purchase requests with p-card for regional needs;
  • Ensuring all required documentation for purchases is completed and accurate;
  • Conducting audits and clearing all p-card purchases active in the State Automated Management Accounting System (SAMAS) for the Orlando regional supervisors, including the OROC crime laboratory;
  • Documenting and tracking of all regional property;
  • Preparing and distributing of Property Data Control forms;
  • Assisting the Property Coordinator;
  • Conducting quarterly vehicle line inspections;
  • Issuing and maintaining EPASS distribution; and
  • Updating SAMAS records for OROC property assignments.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of the procedures and techniques for effective verbal and written communication;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access; and
  • Knowledge of State purchasing policies, procedures, and application to perform purchasing duties.

BASE SALARY:

  • $41,200.00

 

NOTES:

Starting salary will be at the minimum of the class pay range, unless otherwise dictated by FDLE's pay policy. The elements of this selection process may include a work sample and/or interview. Future vacancies may be filled from this position advertisement.
