JOB SUMMARY: This is a Computer Support Tech I - Operations Analyst II position in the General Tax Administration Program, Business Technology Office, Solutions Support Unit. The incumbent provides user support for the Audit and Collection Units, administers the Department's Local Area Network (LAN), and coordinates with the Information Services Program (ISP) to resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, communication components, and system security requirements. The incumbent also performs ongoing networking audits to ensure security compliance and system integrity.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- One year of experience providing technical support.
- Experience researching system issues and implementing system resolution.
- Professional experience supporting users in Microsoft Office Suite
SUBSTITUTIONS:
- College education or certification in an information technology field can substitute for the technical support experience on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- This position requires travel to other service center locations. For all travel, you will use your own means of transportation. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to agency policy.
SALARY: The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,737.73 monthly/$44,852.76 annually.
