Job Description Overview:
The Communications Assistant/Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the office and plays a key role in managing both internal and external communications. Primary responsibilities include staffing the front desk, answering and directing phone calls, assisting with client and visitor check-in, and coordinating communication between attorneys, staff, and outside professionals. The position also requires accurate and consistent data entry to maintain up-to-date records. As the first face of the office, the Communications Assistant/Receptionist represents the organization with professionalism and courtesy.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
- Experience preferred.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, with the ability to maintain consistent attendance and arrive on time each workday.
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to various audiences.
- Ability to respond quickly and professionally in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency in all communications.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team comprised of attorneys, investigators and legal assistants.
