Job Description Overview:


The Communications Assistant/Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the office and plays a key role in managing both internal and external communications. Primary responsibilities include staffing the front desk, answering and directing phone calls, assisting with client and visitor check-in, and coordinating communication between attorneys, staff, and outside professionals. The position also requires accurate and consistent data entry to maintain up-to-date records. As the first face of the office, the Communications Assistant/Receptionist represents the organization with professionalism and courtesy.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to various audiences.
  • Ability to respond quickly and professionally in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ensuring accuracy and consistency in all communications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team comprised of attorneys, investigators and legal assistants.
