OPS HUMAN SERVICES COUNSELOR III

Salary:  $18.23/hourly

Paid Bi-Weekly

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English; writing, speaking, reading & understanding.
• Must have basic skills in the use of Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in a Medical A/R; Medicaid/Medicare eligibility and insurance processes.
• Knowledge of Health Insurance Authorizations & Eligibility & knowledge of Medicare A.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS AND EXPECTATIONS:

• Works under the supervision of Business Manager II.
• Complete and submit Medicaid applications.
• Provide knowledge of Medicaid benefits to families and residents.
• Assist in the admissions process as needed.
• Provide tours of the facility to prospective residents and families.
• Assist with documentation gathering, faxing, filing, scanning, uploading, and copying.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is in the Other Personal Services (Temporary) system.
