Position Summary
This is a professional supervisor position responsible for the supervision of Pre-Enrollment Support Coordiations in the Northwest Region. This position spends the majority of their time communicating with, motivating, training, and evaluating employees, and planning and directing employees' work, and who have the authority to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline subordinate employees or effectively recommend such action, including all employees serving as supervisors, administrators, and directors.
The Work You Will Do
Provides orientation and training to new Pre-Enrollment Staff regarding programmatic processes and procedures. Provides close supervision and monitors work product to promote effective training of the duties and responsibilities during the probationary period. Uses methods to identify barriers and strategies to overcome those barriers (includes written and electronic formats).
Provides ongoing general supervision of Pre-Enrollment Staff by assigning cases, coordinating client staffing, planning schedules of activities that follows established rules, regulations and procedures in the following areas: leave and attendance, travel reimbursement, Annual Status Reviews, and invoice processing. Identifies training needs and ensures that training is provided in a timely manner. Conducts routinely workstream meetings with an agenda of topics relative to the workstream.
Completes monthly reports, tracking assignments, and performs other administrative duties that relate to the supervision of the Pre Enrollment Specialist within the Region. Monitors staff's progress in achieving performance plan goals, documents findings and feedback provided to staff. Monitors the work productivity of each staff, addresses any concerns in a timely manner, solicts supervisory guidance from the Intake & Eligibility Manager as needed.
Reviews request for crisis enrollment with the assigned Pre-Enrollment Specialist. Provides guidance to the PreEnrollment Specialist to assist the consumer and their legal representative with referrals and applying for non-waiver services that he or she may be eligible to receive. Ensures the process is followed per the Crisis Waiver Enrollment Operating Procedure. Prior to the regional team meeting, reviews the crisis tool to ensure that required elements of the Crisis tool are completed accurately and clearly includes evidence that supports the Crisis Category. Ensures accurate completion of iConnect steps, required forms, and request for a MCM or ABA review as needed.
Provides oversignt to the Pre-Enrollment staff during consumer's transition to the Waiver. Reviews request for funding for services using IFS funding with approved invoices for payment of goods and services.
Provides oversight to the Pre-Enrollment staff to ensure compliance with Agency operating procedure related to case closure. Monitors completion of iConnect steps in consumer record prior to case closure, and prior to transferring client central records to ensure records contain all required elements.
Represents the agency at Transportation Disadvantage meetings in assigned counties in the Northwest Region. Participates in community events with other agencies to share information included but not limited to APO services for pre-enrollment consumers transitioning from high school and travel throughout the region for staff training.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Florida Driver's License or other efficient means of transportation.
- One year of supervisory experience and at least one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Bachelors Degree preferred.

Background Screening Requirement
