Job Description
The essential function of this position is to provide administrative, organizational, and clerical support to the Director of Human Resources. This position plays a critical role in supporting the Human Resources Office by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and general HR operations. Primary responsibilities include coordinating the hiring process, preparing onboarding and offboarding materials, maintaining confidential personnel files, and supporting employee relations activities. The position also assists with compiling reports, tracking training and compliance requirements, coordinating special HR projects, and managing general office operations to ensure the department runs efficiently. The position works under general supervision, reporting to the Director of Human Resources.
Education and Training Guidelines
administration, labor or industrial relations, management, employment law, or a closely related field. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year-for-year basis.
Experience – Two years of related work experience in human resources or personnel administration, Additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis.
Certification and Special Requirements – Valid Florida State Driver’s License required.
