Your Specific Responsibilities:

Must be available to assist FDOH-St. Lucie with testing and administering covid vaccines. Be able to clearly explain, document and provide education.   Server in a pod or clinical setting. Travel within the county for outreaches and homebound clients.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Draw and administer immunizations. Swab and test for Covid19. Provide education and documentation for both vaccines and COVID19.


  • Licensure as a Practical Nurse
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
  • Serve at a Special Needs Shelter during Hurricane
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, bend, twist and use of repetitive motion.
  • Knowledge of computer software including applications,such as Merlin,Essence,Microsoft Office (Outlook,Word, And Excel)
  • Experience working as a vaccination team member in community outreaches or at a Community Health Department Clinic
  • Florida Department of Health is required to work before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an
    emergency. Emergency duty required of the incumbent includes working in special needs shelter or performing other emergency duties
    including but not limited to, response to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster man-made or natural.
  • Must speak English, bilingual preferred.
