MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Inventory control experience
- Willingness and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; unload supplies; and stock inventory
- Proficient computer skills
- Valid Florida Driver License
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Successful completion of the employment screening to include, but not limited to, a national background check and drug test.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Employment experience in a Long-Term Care facility or health care environment
- Experience using the State of Florida purchasing system (MyFloridaMarketPlace)
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Incumbent will work under the supervision of the Home Administrator. Initiates purchase requisitions for supplies, maintains inventory accuracy levels at 95% or higher in coordination with the Home Administrator and other Departmental Heads.
- Maintain the facility inventory computer system, proper documentation and records according to FDVA Standards and Procedures. Promptly deliver supplies and equipment to proper department personnel or store rooms as required.
- Maintains the facility inventory computer system and maintains records according to FDVA Standards and Procedures.
- Provides needed management reports to Administration.
- Establishes facility supply levels in central storeroom, and ensures central and unit storerooms are stocked according to established levels.
- Delivers supplies and /or equipment to proper department personnel or storeroom.
- Maintain inventory.
- Records and receiving reports on supplies/equipment received.
- Inspects storeroom to ensure that equipment and supplies are issued according to schedule and instructions and coordinates the replacement of storeroom supplies.
- Stocks nursing supply rooms to established par levels according to FDVA standards and procedures.
- Coordinates with all facility departments and respond to residents' requests and needs.
- Completes required documentation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned and attends mandatory in-service programs.
