MAINTENANCE REPAIRMAN

 

This position will serve with the maintenance staff in the St. Petersburg Center location.  This position calls on professional attitude and experience. This position will require you to work with vendors and direct and monitor them.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with and support Maintenance Mechanics with your abilities and experience. 
  • Act as a liaison with vendors in the repair and maintenance of our Centers.
  • Recognizing items or equipment in need of repair or maintenance.
  • Developing a good manner around staff, as well as clients, and build a good relationship with them.
  • Have experience with tools and the ability to use them in a safe and effective manner.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A valid Florida driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.
  • The knowledge of hand tools and how to use them safely.
  • The ability to maintain an inventory of parts and janitorial supplies.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years' experience in the maintenance and repair of facilities and mechanical equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting HVAC issues.
  • Electrical experience
