Position Overview and Responsibilities:
This position serves as a Cabin Support Team Lead and is centered on day-to-day park cabin operations including cabin cleaning and working closely with volunteers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a challenging and rewarding position as a non-resident OPS PARK ATTENDANT at one of Florida's most dynamic state parks. The selected employee will be immersed in the operation of Grayton Beach State Park cabin area.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to
- Work rotating shifts including nights, holidays and weekends
- Communicate verbally and in writing
- Perform physical labor and janitorial duties
- Use power/electrical/gas tools and equipment
- Address visitor inquiries in a tactful, efficient, and courteous manner
- Interact with people and maintain good public relations
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Perform quality assurance checks
Knowledge, skill and ability to
- Skill in operating trucks, ATV/UTV, golf carts, operating mowers, standard power and manual tools.
- Basic computer skills to be able to fill in short reports and communicate effectively with internal emails and time sheets.
- Providing high level customer service
- Housekeeping to include mopping, scrubbing, and cleaning bathrooms, washing laundry, folding linen etc.
- General maintenance and inspections of facilities and equipment
Skills in
- Computer applications such as MS Office.
- Interest in providing top-notch visitor services through the cleanliness and maintenance of facilities and high-quality visitor contact experiences.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Understand and apply rules, directives, laws, regulations, and policies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
