Your Specific Responsibilities:
This advertisement is for the Computer Programmer Analyst I (CPAI) with varying responsibilities with the Information Technology (IT) division. The position provides user support for the Health Management System (HMS) utilized by the health department for clinical services and develop reports using LOGI Analytics to extract and manipulate data in report format for the users. Other duties include support for the Dental oral health record Eaglesoft and the Environmental Health Database (EHD).
- Serves as primary administrator to the Eaglesoft system, which include maintaining user access; performing quarterly audits on system access; maintaining system tables; testing new release functionality; coordinating with users and network team on system upgrades; troubleshooting user issues and escalating to the vendor as needed.
- Provides support to all staff on HMS.
- Develops new reports and maintains existing LOGI Analytics reports.
- Serves as primary support for Environmental Health Database (EHD), which include assisting Environmental Health (EH) staff with Crystal Report development; reporting bugs as needed to central office; keeps EH and IT staff informed on EHD changes.
- Serves as backup to other programming staff on daily responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Minimum --
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience in computer systems analysis and/or computer programming; or
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in one of the computer sciences or in management information systems; or
- Two years of experience as described above and either (1) completion of a 720 classroom hour program of study from a vocational/technical school or accredited community college in an area of data processing (excluding data entry), or (2) 60 semester or 90 quarter hours of college course work from an accredited institution which includes four courses in computer science or management information systems.
- Experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
- Completion of a one-year program of study from a vocational/technical school in an area of data processing (excluding data entry) can substitute for one year of the required experience.

- Experience supporting an electronic health record (EHR)
- Experience developing reports with advanced reporting tools
- Experience providing business analysis services
