Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in civil, construction, mechanical or architectural engineering or architecture and two years of experience in the field of building construction and building maintenance.
One or more years of supervisory experience.
Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) within the first two years of service.
Florida Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference may be given to candidates with the following qualifications:
One or more years of working in the State of Florida’s People First system
One or more years of experience working with People First Talent Management

Office hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Not eligible for Telework.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to staff in the Office of Human Resources. The duties include but not limited to: The incumbent will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to staff in the Office of Human Resources. The duties include but are not limited to:
Providing clerical support to Human Resources staff in answering incoming calls and responding to basic personnel questions; routing policy and procedure personnel questions to the appropriate subject matter expert.
Incumbents will sort and distribute all HR incoming mail and faxes. Aids all visitors to the Office of Human Resources.
Advertises position vacancies in People First Talent Management for all Offices of the Executive Director.
Assist HR Training Coordinator in updating and maintaining employee training history information in People First LMS System. Assign trainings to staff in LMS. Track required agency coursework for compliance.
Verify employee tuition waivers and federal student loan forgiveness applications.
Back-up to the Public Records Aide, assisting with public records requests, scanning documents into electronic personnel files utilizing Laserfiche Data Storage as needed;
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Pro
Possess good customer service, telephone and clerical skills
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to work independently
Ability and desire to work in an extremely fast-paced, team environment
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines Ability to act on changing priorities and responsibilities
