NOTE: Preference will be given to applicants with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or
university with a major in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field, and professional/nonprofessional accounting/auditing experience.
DUTIES:
This is a professional position with the Office of Inspector General. Job duties include:
• Assist staff with audits, reviews, special projects, and investigations.
• Review Single Audit reports for statutory compliance.
• Perform administrative tasks for the Office of Inspector General.
• Maintain independence and objectivity in performance of work.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
• Ability to understand, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Ability to review, analyze, and evaluate data.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Proficient in using a computer as well as Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
Access and Outlook.
