JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Agency for Health Care Administration is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Distributed Computer Systems Analyst within the Division of Information Technology (IT), Bureau of Customer Service & Support (CSS). CSS is committed to supporting the Agency's mission by providing high-quality customer service and enterprise-wide integrated desktop solutions with Help Desk and on-site user support. CSS also administers the Microsoft SharePoint platform for the Agency. CSS continually endeavors to improve the quality of the services offered and implements new technologies to support Agency business unit needs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a professional position within the Information Technology Division reporting to the Bureau Chief of Distributed Infrastructure. The position is responsible for providing customer support, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
Answer Help Desk phone calls and electronic tickets for tier-one user support. Caller information must be recorded in the Help Desk call tracking system, and basic troubleshooting must be done. Calls not resolved by the Help Desk technician will be escalated to the appropriate field technician. Process NAF (Network Access Form) requests. NAFs will be processed and tracked through the Help Desk tracking software in a timely fashion.
Responsible for providing tier two support, responding to and resolving customer requests (i.e., Help Desk calls) for hardware and software problems, including computers, printers, smart phones, etc. Performs installation, tracking, and life-cycle support of computer/automation systems. Works closely with the entire Information Technology team supporting customer’s technology needs.
Performs administrative duties such as procedural document review, inventory review, stockroom maintenance, surplus management, and legal hold data management.
Reviews and evaluates new system components and updates to existing components. Consults with customers and vendors on new product purchases and needs. Participates in the planning, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new and modified systems and technology.
Prepares reports on assigned projects for the Bureau Chief of Distributed Infrastructure.
Performs other duties as required.
The incumbent will complete AHCA IT Information System Development Methodology (ISDM) documentation as needed for system documentation purposes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Applications.
Able to upgrade/migrate operating systems and software.
Knowledge of encryption, VPN, cellular voice and data, wired and wireless networking, Microsoft Active Directory, desktop computer and peripheral support, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel with or without accommodation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
Must have a minimum of one year of experience troubleshooting PC's, printers and network connectivity issues.
Must have a minimum of one year of experience troubleshooting mobile devices.
Must have a minimum of one year of experience troubleshooting VPN connectivity issues.
