The Agency for Health Care Administration is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Distributed Computer Systems Analyst within the Division of Information Technology (IT), Bureau of Distributed Infrastructure. 

Distributed Infrastructure is committed to supporting the Agency's mission by providing high-quality customer service and enterprise-wide integrated desktop solutions with Help Desk and on-site user support.

Distributed Infrastructure continually endeavors to improve the quality of the services offered and implements new technologies to support Agency business unit needs.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a professional and technical position within the Division of Information Technology, Bureau of Distributed Infrastructure, reporting to the Systems Project Administrator.

The position is responsible for providing customer support, maintenance, configuration and troubleshooting computer hardware and software.

The incumbent will handle IT changes and high-volume workload challenges with a professional attitude and adaptable demeanor.

 

Responsible for providing timely Tier 2 support responding to and resolving customer requests (i.e., Help Desk tickets) for hardware and software problems, including computers, printers, smart phones, etc.

Performs installation, tracking, and life-cycle support of computer/automation systems.

Works closely with the entire Information Technology team supporting customer’s technology needs.

Complete assigned tasks in the designated ticket tracking system based on service level agreement timelines.

 

Performs administrative duties such as procedural document review, inventory review, stockroom maintenance, surplus management, and legal hold data management.

 

Reviews and evaluates new system components and updates to existing components.

Consults with customers and vendors on new product purchases and needs.

Participates in the planning, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new and modified systems and technology.

 

Prepares reports on assigned projects for the Systems Project Administrator.

The incumbent will complete AHCA IT Information System Development Methodology (ISDM) documentation as needed for system documentation purposes.

 

Performs other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

•Knowledge configuring Microsoft Windows 10/11 OS and Microsoft Office 2016/365 applications.

•Knowledge configuring Adobe products.

•Knowledge of encryption, VPN, cellular voice and data, wired and wireless networking, Microsoft Active Directory and computer and peripheral support.

•Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving common computer and iPhone issues related to software and hardware

•Ability to communicate effectively

•Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments. 

•Ability to work well within a team.

•Ability to work in a training capacity with individuals.

•Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of two years of experience troubleshooting PC's, printers, and network connectivity issues.

A minimum of one year of experience troubleshooting mobile devices.

A minimum of one year of experience troubleshooting VPN connectivity issues.

A minimum of one year of experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11.

A minimum of one year of experience with Microsoft Office 2016/365.
