Where You Will Work:
This position is situated in the Bureau of Central Services within the Division of Health Quality Assurance.
The Bureau provides services and support to the facility licensure function of the Agency and is comprised of four units: the Background Screening Unit, the Financial Analysis Unit, the Central Intake Unit, and the Systems, Training, and Support Unit.
These units are responsible for the receipt and distribution of all health care facility applications and processing of associated fees; the background screening of facility owners, administrators, personnel, and Medicaid providers, and other personnel working with Florida’s vulnerable population; the financial analysis and financial data collection of health care facilities; and the systems management, data support and training within the Division.
The Work You'll Do:
The incumbent in this position provides administrative support to the Central Intake section.
The incumbent functions as a member of a cooperative team that is responsible for providing centralized services of mail, fee processing, scanning, and quality assurance of images and data. Specific responsibilities and duties are as follows:
Serves as primary for maintaining the AHCA Registration Email Inbox as well as the AHCA Registration Fax Inbox, responding to inquiries and using both the SSO system and Versa to process the SSO User Registration Agreements, ensuring proper record keeping and scanning into Laserfiche accordingly
Also serves as primary for processing PDSS registration approvals for access to FNHURS.
Assist Central Intake Unit staff by serving as the lead on reviewing each fee batch for correctness and completeness prior to delivery with appropriate documentation to Finance and Accounting. Scanning reports and storing them into Laserfiche.
Maintain a working knowledge of the Agency’s SSO and licensure database in order to retrieve licensure/certification, payment, inspection, and other general facility information by answering correspondences and handling routine inquiries.
Pick up any hand delivered payments or paperwork daily from Reception/Security and delivers to Central intake Unit for processing.
Assists with processing incoming and outgoing mail which includes licensure applications, certification packets, fingerprint cards, and other general correspondence from providers. Stamps date received and distributes according to the Unit mail procedures.
Conducts quality assurance and redaction in accordance to Agency policies and Unit procedures.
Performs other duties as required.
This position will be hired at the minimum salary of $1,336.92 Biweekly and is non-negotiable.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
One (1) year of professional or nonprofessional experience in customer service, data entry, or administrative work.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in VERSA and Laserfiche software.
