ANTICIPATED VACANCY
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Agency for Health Care Administration seeks to hire a Medical/Health Care Program Analyst who is dependable, flexible, and can thrive in a work setting that requires attention to detail and managing concurrent time-sensitive tasks.
The position's hours are in-office Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Adjustments to the hours may be made to accommodate an employee upon request.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
This position functions as a member of a cooperative team responsible for the regulation of health care providers and facilities assigned to the Laboratory and In-Home Services Unit.
The primary duties include providing technical and consultative services for all matters pertaining to the state licensure and/or Medicare certification of assigned programs, and for the coordination of activities between the work unit, other areas of the Agency, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The individual:
•Assembles and reviews applications and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy and compliance with state licensure and/or Medicare certification requirements following unit procedural guidelines. Monitors progress of applications and takes appropriate actions to approve, withdraw, or deny applications within statutory timeframes.
•Provides information and technical assistance to providers regarding the regulatory process for initial, renewal, change of ownership, and general change of information applications.
•Responds timely to all communication, including emails and phone calls relating to licensure and/or Medicare certification for the assigned areas of responsibility.
•Works with other team members, information technology, and other support areas of the Agency regarding the utilization and maintenance of computer systems for tracking and storage of the licensure, certification, and inspection data of health care providers and facilities.
•Compiles and maintains inventories of programs in the assigned areas of responsibility to assure the information remains current and accurate.
•Works cooperatively with other Agency staff to ensure timely and accurate information is transmitted within the Agency and with other state and federal agencies as appropriate.
•Assists in the review, preparation and promulgation of statutes and rules to implement program initiatives as may be required.
•Performs other related duties as may be assigned.

This position will be filled at the base biweekly salary of $1,794.92 and is non-negotiable.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
Two or more years of professional experience relating to health care delivery systems or health care administration, or two years of experience relating to health care regulation involving compliance monitoring of local, state, or federal requirements.
