Where You Will Work:

This position is in the Deputy Secretary's office within the Division of Health Quality Assurance.

This position is under the direct supervision of the Assistant Deputy Secretary of HQA and provides services and support to the facility licensure function of the Agency.

This position will work with all the bureaus of the Division, but will work most closely with the Bureaus of Health Facility Regulation, Central Services, and Field Operations in systems management, data support, and training.

 

The Work You'll Do:

The incumbent will provide training in systems, policy development, data management, and quality assurance. Specific responsibilities and duties are as follows:

 

Serves as the primary Project Liaison for VERSA, Online Licensing, HFRS, and Laserfiche and lead analyst for development of new systems as assigned by the Division.  Duties include:

•              Conducts research and requirements gathering for new or existing systems

•              Coordinates data related projects

•              Assists in the maintenance, development, implementation, analysis, and reporting of HQA data

•              Responsible for testing releases of new systems (including drafting test scenarios and plans)

 

Coordinates or performs training and technical support for all systems including but not limited to VERSA, HFRS, and Laserfiche

    

Develops and maintains policy and procedure and system training manuals for the functions of this position.

 

Represents the Division at meetings and on committees regarding data system issues and other projects as assigned.

 

Other duties as required.

 

A good attendance record is essential for any individual in this position as the work involved occurs daily and is time critical.

The individual in this position is expected to report to work daily and on time. 

Leave must be requested in advance except in emergency circumstances not under the control of the employee.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

One year of experience navigating data tables, pulling data from custom databases, and linking databases. 

One year of experience with creating system training manuals or maintaining policies and procedures.

One year of experience in developing business and system processes through analysis, requirements gathering, and testing.
