Position Overview:

We are seeking to hire a Regulatory Specialist I who desires to work part time.

This position requires a candidate who is dependable, flexible, innovative, and thrives on extensive computer work. The position's hours are flexible and is located in the Survey & Certification Support Branch within the Division of Health Quality Assurance, Bureau of Field Operations.

The work unit is responsible for public records, data integrity, training, and quality assurance.

Primary duties of the position are focused on completing and redacting public record and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests within timeframes assigned.

Other duties include document scanning, quality reviews, and basic office support (phone calls, faxes, mail, data entry, filing, and meeting preparations).

Prefer knowledge of medical terminology.

Prefer experience in specific software applications: Automated Survey Processing Environment (ASPEN), Laserfiche, Versa Regulation, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), CorrFlow, Emergency Status System (ESS), CASPER and ability to redact documents in accordance with Al!ency and HIP AA protocols.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

At least four (4) years of professional or nonprofessional experience in administrative work with Microsoft Office and computer data entry, as verified on the applicant profile and/or resume.

A college education from an accredited institution can substitute for up to two (2) years of the required experience.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in ASPEN, Laserfiche, Versa Regulation, CorrFlow, CASPER, and redaction tools/processes, as well as knowledge of medical terminology.

High School diploma, or equivalent is preferred.

BACKGROUND SCREENING
