The Agency for Health Care Administration is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Systems Project Administrator - SES within the Division of Information Technology (IT), Bureau of Strategic Information Technologies. Several IT skill-set disciplines and areas make-up this strategic team. Information technology solutions are built with IT security compliance and strategic planning in mind through the IT Strategic Planning Team. AHCA Business Unit IT consulting and contract management is also a service provided by the IT Strategic Planning Team to assist the Agency in large-scale IT procurements. The IIT Strategic Planning Team consists of Network Administration, Application Development & Support, and Telecommunications (Voice-over-Internet Protocol) plus cellular technologies as well as staff who support the administrative human resources and procurement needs of Information Technology (IT) staff, staff of the Agency, and the customers of the Agency.


DESCRIPTION: As a System Project Administrator, you will be a part of the IT Applications Development Team that is responsible for the design, development, testing and support of Agency applications. This is a supervisor position responsible for employee hiring, communicating, motivating, training, evaluating, planning and directing; developing performance planning, performance evaluations, position descriptions, and timesheet maintenance; developing and communicating strategic plans; reporting finding back to the team and the management; and working together with energetic leadership to set a positive friendly work environment. The incumbent will be developing and maintaining systems with the latest technologies such as Visual Studio 2019, Azure DevOps 2019, ASP.Net MVC, .Net Framework 4.8, Web Services, and JavaScript Libraries. This is a highly responsible technical and strategic position.



  • Analyze and maintain Agency applications.
  • Design, document, develop and deploy web applications.
  • Design unit, integration and behavioral application testing.
  • Assist with deployment and promotion of applications throughout multiple environments.
  • Work with Project Managers and Business Analysts to identify application requirements.
  • Work with other technical staff to implement various application features.

  • Ability to design, develop and test web-based applications using industry standard techniques and guidelines
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to Lead and work as part of a development team
  • Skill in deployment of web-based applications
  • Skill in writing T-SQL scripts
  • Skill in using source code configuration management tools such as Azure DevOps



  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology providing application development and support services.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience developing .NET web applications.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in writing SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
