Position Overview:

Are you a visionary designer with a passion for public service? The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) is seeking a talented and collaborative Creative Director to lead graphic design efforts that inform, inspire, and elevate our mission.

 

As the agency’s lead graphic designer, the Creative Director will produce high-impact visual materials, including one-pagers, palm cards, postcards, and digital graphics, for AHCA leadership and program areas. This role is central to shaping how we communicate with stakeholders, partners, and the public.

 

Key Responsibilities

•Design and produce clear, engaging visual content that supports AHCA’s strategic priorities

•Collaborate closely with program teams to ensure materials reflect accurate information and resonate with target audiences

•Translate complex health care initiatives into accessible, visually compelling formats

•Maintain brand consistency across all agency materials

•Manage multiple design projects and deadlines with precision and creativity

•Provide design support for leadership presentations, public events, and outreach campaigns

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

•Strong portfolio showcasing experience in print and digital design

•Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)

•Excellent eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling

•Ability to work collaboratively across departments and incorporate feedback

•Skilled at balancing creativity with clarity and compliance

•Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities

•Experience in public sector or health care communications a plus
